Whizpoppers & Poops!
He also pooped in the potty. He was so proud of himself he kept smiling and pointing his thumbs at his face like the child does in his potty book. Even though it was time to take naps, we went out for ice cream to celebrate (I know you're not supposed to give food rewards for this, but heck it was exciting and we needed to do something!).

Poppy's Visit
We went fruit picking at a nearby orchard. We picked FIFTY-TWO (yes 52 pounds of peaches), and about 4 pounds of raspberries and blackberries.
We also drove by one of Erik's childhood houses (it was painted the same/same landscaping/etc) that is nearby and explored the surrounding area. We went on a ferry ride across a river and found an orchard with a train. Aiden, Erik, and Poppy went on a ride. The ride included a brief stop at a petting zoo. Aiden fed chickens and petted bunnies and a goat.
Everybody Poops...even when you're not looking.
Aiden, Poppy (Erik's Dad), and I went to the zoo yesterday. Aiden and Poppy were in the petting zoo. They happened to walk by a sheep that was about to poop...the sheep then raised his tail to poop and the keepers held a pooper scooper behind him until he was done. Aiden never even seemed to look at the sheep or notice what was happeing. Later that day, he kept talking about the sheep and the pooper scooper--the how's the why's. He was enthralled.
Who Feeds Whom

Recently there was picture in the paper of an actress from the new Transformers movie; she is quite endowed. Aiden kept looking at the picture and pointing out that the woman had "two breasts." He went on to say, "Mama, she feeds two babies with those." I agreed that, yes she indeed had two breasts, but I didn't think she had babies or fed babies at this time. Aiden was adamant that she did. He still talks about her...it has been over a month since he saw the picture.
Aiden has also recently determined that "girls feed babies and boys feed puppies." I guess Erik typically feeds our dog, but not always :-) Aiden likes to take the dog's food and feed her the individual kibbles. He regularly asks young girls if they feed babies. Ahh...the fascination begins.
